Intake and scheduling for law firms
Client intake is high-volume and largely administrative before a matter reaches a lawyer: availability, document requests, and initial contact details. The agent handles that layer; legal advice never comes from it.
Example call
A prospective client calls about a dispute. The agent records the case type, urgency and preferred callback time, explains that no advice is given over this line, and prepares a structured note for the assigned lawyer.
Confidentiality boundary
The agent does not ask for or store privileged case detail beyond what is needed to route the enquiry — no summary of the matter's substance is generated without an explicit, tested agreement to do so.
What always goes to a person
Any request for legal opinion, deadline advice, or case status beyond 'someone will call you back' is declined and escalated.
Next step
A scoped intake pilot — call type, callback preference, urgency flag — reviewed by your firm before any client hears it.
