Availability and booking, checked against your calendar
The agent only offers times it can actually confirm. It does not invent availability and it does not double-book — if the calendar cannot be checked live, it says so instead of guessing.
What it does
Asks for the service or reason, checks your calendar for open slots, books the one the caller picks, and sends a confirmation — the same steps a front desk follows.
Changes and cancellations
Callers can reschedule or cancel through the same flow; the agent updates the calendar rather than leaving a message for someone to action later.
Where it stops
Anything requiring a judgement call — squeezing in an urgent case, overriding a block, negotiating a fee — is hand-off territory, not something the agent decides on its own.
Requirement before go-live
A tested, two-way connection to your actual calendar system. Without that, this stays a design, not a booking channel.
